Soho is not a neighbourhood so much as a state of mind. It's been a red light district, a jazz quarter, a Bohemian enclave, an epicentre of alternative culture, a Cantonese kitchen, and a creative industry hub, sometimes all at once, sometimes all on the same street. It has eaten homogenisation for breakfast and spat out any concept trying to trade on Soho's unique values. It is, stubbornly and magnificently, still itself.
The Queens Head has been here since 1736. We've been the custodians since 2011. The world has changed so much since then but at every stage, we've stayed true to the spirit that drives this distinct part of London.
Denman Street sits at the hinge point between the chaos of Piccadilly Circus and the more interesting chaos of Soho proper. Two minutes from the tube, a short stumble from the Piccadilly Theatre, the Criterion, and the Shaftesbury, and a world away from the tourist pubs that line the main drag. If you know, you know.
